Safety Standards

Munson Earth-Moving Corp is proud to provide a safe and efficient working environment for all our employees,as well as the public on every job. We take every effort to make sure personal injury is eliminated and ensure that property and equipment damage is minimized.

The safety program also contends to educate and train employees in current safety issues. Our Project Managers and Superintendents are the leaders of our safety team. They are responsible for accident prevention of on-the-job injuries and maintaining the highest standards of work zone safety. We believe that success in accident reduction lies in planning ahead and never taking safety for granted.

Here, we make every effort to encourage a positive safety attitude at every level. From the CEO to employees at every job site, safety awareness is an essential component in any task we undertake.

Key elements in The Munson Earth Moving Safety Program are:

Promoting the safety and well-being of each employee.

Eliminating personal injury based on the belief that "injury-free" projects can and should occur.

Encouraging recommendations for improvements to safety throughout the company.

Establishing individual responsibility for the safety program on each project that reaches all levels.

Annual safety meetings and weekly "Tailgate" meetings at all job sites.

Everyone entering a construction site, for any reason, will be required to comply with The Munson Earth Moving Safety Program as well as all federal, state and local safety standards and requirements, including OSHA.
